Greenland

Greenland is beautiful and easy to travel to. It has many natural sights for a person to tour and enjoy. Those include hot springs, an ice sheet, northern lights, and more. There are also wonderful sights in nature to see like whales, sheep, horses, and natural animals. Greenland is the largest island in the world, and it has an ice sheet that contains 10% of the world’s water.

Mountains in Peru

The mountains in Peru are remote and spectacular. There are even mountains that look like a rainbow due to the weather and minerals in the rock. This area is so amazing because of the historical volcanic activity.

100 Mile Wilderness, Maine

If you enjoy hiking and want something very remote, visit the 100 Mile Wilderness in Maine. It is along the Appalachian Trail and runs 100 miles through Maine. Most people visit this at the end of June, so the weather is optimal, but before Fall may make this trek very cool and comfortable as well. It has some of the most beautiful sites in North America that you can trek in 8 days. 

When you are done, you can visit areas around this trail that are full of beautiful views and nature. There are not many roads, telecommunications, or towns nearby, so you have to plan this trip accordingly. There are campsites, lodges, trail guides, and of course, you will run into other tourists day-tripping or making a week-long vacation on this wild frontier.

Polynesia

The Polynesia islands are made of 1,000 islands in the South Sea of the Pacific Ocean. New Zealand is the largest of these islands.  The Polynesian Triangle is drawn by connecting the points of New Zealand, Hawaii, and Easter Island. Polynesia is so beautiful with its crystal clear water, amazing weather, and ability to be remote and natural. 

You can hike volcanos, swim with sea animals, whale watch. The best time to visit is between June and August, and there are many hotels and tourist places to stay with great accommodations. You can even stay in private bungalows in one of the more popular islands of Bora Bora. If you plan to island-hop, you can visit by plane or ferry.
